WELCOME TO THE AUGUST ANGELIC INSIGHTS NEWSLETTER!! Hello everyone. It has been my custom to write to you to inform you about what I am offering in terms of classes, meditations and workshops. I often include a snippet of information that I receive in meditation or from divine guidance. When I do this, invariably someone will email me saying, “Mary, you really should write what the angels and guides are telling you.” Each time I get a reading from someone, be it astrological, spiritual, akashic, or otherwise, the reader tells me, “Mary, I am getting or seeing that you should be writing.” Even my best friend Lana says to me on our frequent walks around the neighborhood, “Girlfriend, You REALLY need to write, already. They (the angels) are making me crazy with this.” In the interest of finally doing what I am being told to do and to give my BFF a break, welcome to the new Angelic Insights Newsletter.

In preparing for this newsletter, (which really means as I obsessed over naming it,) I received guidance to use the name of my “business” and my website. How novel! For a fairly intelligent person, I can be so dense at times! UGH!

When I do an angel reading or healing, I connect through my heart with the higher energy around my client and I offer them the insights that I receive in that energy. So, I will use the same strategy to create these newsletters for you. Going forward, I will ask for guidance on a particular topic and then relay that guidance to you. If you have general topics or questions that you would like me to cover, please feel free to email me.

My years in the business world taught me that it is important to create a mission statement when one is about to embark on a new venture. So, (trumpets please Angels) the Mission Statement for the monthly Angelic Insights Newsletter is to use my God-given gifts to bring illumination and a higher perspective forward, with the express purpose of spreading peace, light, love, compassion and spirit to our world. Thank you Divine Source, for this opportunity and gift.

Our topic for August is….How to Connect with your Angels and Guides…..

Many people ask me how to I “see” angels. In actuality, I usually do not see them at all. When I connect with someone with the intention of doing a reading (and of course, with their permission), I imagine going into my heart. I visualize a light there and I expand the light in all directions around me. I then expand the light to include the client. When I start to feel a warm love for them in the center of my chest, I know that the energy of the angels is present. I never lose consciousness and am always aware of what I am saying. I do not always remember it after the reading, as messages can be intensely private and personal. “Forgetting” the contents of a reading is, at least in my opinion, honoring and respectful. During readings, I allow myself to verbalize what I am “seeing”. It often appears to be a movie in my mind. I encourage questions from clients because we are creating this experience together. Often times I will see, feel or even know something and will speak it and will astound the client. Believe me, when this happens, even after many years of doing this work, I am astounded. The Universe is so grand in its workings. I am very grateful to bear witness to it. When I do readings and healings I know that the results are not MY doing. My job is to be a clear resource, trust the guidance and keep my ego out of the way. The Universe, Source, Divine, God, does the real work and so does the recipient.

If you would like to “amp up” your own divine communication, I invite you to use the process that I described above. Sit quietly and “see” or “feel” yourself surrounded by a tube of pure white light. Pull it down from above and allow it to surround you. Feel, see or know that the Light is active and very much alive. Use your breath to expand the light all around you. Breathe it in and then exhale it. Then, bring your awareness into your heart center. Try to visualize a bright point of light in your chest. You might imagine that it looks as bright (or brighter) than a sparkler. When you are ready, ask to connect to your angels (or guides, or departed loved ones.) Once you feel a sense of peace and well being, you will know you are connected. If you are new to this process, just enjoy the experience. This is a wonderful time to get the name of your angel or guide. As you progress on your connection journey, you may want to begin to ask your “guidance” some questions. Be sure to use open-ended questions like, “what can you tell me about my life’s work?”, or “what should I know about this (and visualize it) situation?” At first, the information will trickle to you, like a slow drip from a faucet. Eventually, it will flow and you will be filled with images, thoughts and profound awareness. On occasion you may get a powerful response. Trust what you get. If it makes you feel good, peaceful and filled with hope, you are on the right track. If it makes you feel anything less than good, then ego has taken hold. If that happens, return to the space of light and allow it to soothe and comfort you. You might even want to save your questions for another time. It is also important to keep a journal of your experiences. It provides a great way to monitor your progress and to be able to see how accurate your guidance really is. I am sure you will amaze yourself with your gifts! I would love to hear about your experiences with this process and your new found connection to the all things Light-filled around you.
